We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter and team player to be our Head of Safety & Security. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team.

Compliance & Quality Assurance – VIVA Macau Ltd

Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide oversight of the Flight Operations and Engineering Quality Systems;
* Develop the company audit schedule;
* Approve deviations from the company audit schedule;
* Prepare reports for the CEO on matters associated with Quality Assurance, audit reports,Compliance, engineering/maintenance, flight operations and/or improvements of Company standards;
* Review and implement as required any regulatory changes;
* Liaise with the Document Control officer and review all Operational Documentation amendments to ensure compliance prior to distribution;
* Oversee and as necessary facilitate company and third-party audits;
* Oversee and as necessary prepare audit reports including corrective action requirements and recommendations for further action;
* Provide direction to all company staff regarding regulatory compliance;
* Maintain the Quality Management System, including the Quality Assurance Manual;
* Allocate resources for the conduct of combined operational audits and audits utilising outside resources;
* Oversee Compliance & Quality Assurance Departmental records including retention and destruction;
* Oversee Quality Audit Checklist development;
* Conduct and document Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRAs); and
* Assist in controlling safety risks which in turn prevent “losses?for the company.

Qualifications & Experience
* Certificated and recognized Lead Auditors Course;
* Intimate knowledge of global operating practises and Quality Management;
* Sound knowledge of commercial airline operations, procedures and activities;
* Has managed and implemented Quality Management Systems;
* Understanding and knowledge about Safety Management Systems and principles;
* Substantial aviation industry auditing experience;Broad aviation technical knowledge and operational experience;
* Sound knowledge of aviation regulations, regulatory frameworks, including ICAO SARPs;
* Management experience within the aviation industry;
* Ability to work with a team;
* Ability to effectively communicate objective, non-biased observations to auditees;
* Ability to be firm in conviction;
* Ability to have a thorough attention to detail and skill in collecting objective evidence;
* Ability to communicate at all levels both inside and outside of the company;
* Ability and confidence to communicate directly to the CEO as their advisor;
* Excellent spoken and written English, and a high level of reading, writing, presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills; and
* Computer literacy and analytical skills.

Macau permanent residents are preferred but other applicants willing to work in Macau will also be considered.
