The responsibilities are as follows:
• Directs and manage the operation, analysis, development and improvement of the financial systems and procedures.
• Manages and supervise the preparation of financial and management reports.
• Oversee the daily operations of the finance department.
• Work with external financial auditors, bank officers or representatives and other local government agency representatives to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
• Supervises accounting systems with established accounting practices and procedures.
• Develops internal control systems to assure protection of assets and security of data.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

Education & Experience:
• Certified Public Accountant
• At least three (3) years work experience in the Mining Industry
• Preferably as Finance Manager or Cost or Management Accountant.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and current pronouncements and developments.
• Knowledge on the 1995 Mining Act
• Knowledge on Philippine tax laws especially on local taxation expanded withholding tax and VAT.
• Knowledge on the operation of Environmental Cash and Monitoring Cash Funds including SDMP Liabilities
• Familiar or knowledge on Pronto Enterprise Management System

Other:
• 6 weeks on the site (Masbate)
• 2 weeks vacation
• with accommodation, food and transportation paid by the company every 6 weeks back home
