Functional Description:
• Responsible for the day to day maintenance of all SQL Server databases to ensure 24×7 availability.
• Responsible for maintaining security access to all SQL Server databases.
• Responsible for the deployment of schema and data changes throughout all environments.
• Responsible for ongoing data loads.

Education and Typical Years Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience.

Special Requirements :
• Proactively monitor the Production Database and optimize stored procedures for better performance. Resolve locking conflicts and resource utilization
• Ensure all database environments (Development, Test, QA and Production) are in sync.
• Manage and Create database schemas for Relational Database Systems (optimize index creation, table creation, storage allocations, etc.)
• Provides technical assistance to other DBA team members and/or application groups when requested.
• Creates scripts to automate DBA tasks.
• Responsible for extensive application/SQL monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning SQL Server RDBMS.
• Ability to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, and customers/clients.
