KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To head up and direct the talented Interior Design team for an International Design Consultancy whilst managing some of the most enviable projects in Malaysia.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- You will be responsible for many key accounts.
- You will be client facing, managing big pitches within the hospitality & resort industry, amongst other clients.
- Concept design. To do space planning, coming out with design ideas with an ability to design develop from beginning of project.
- Vast knowledge in hospitality planning & design. Must be very creative and a good team leader.
- Could run design, drawing & FFE teams, and be able to handle various projects at the same time. Ability to handle stressful situations whilst communicating well.
- Somebody that is confident & comfortable client facing – resolve design & do sketches immediately. Must be passionate about design.
- Somebody that would be able to manage the office, team of staff as well as getting the work done, and must be able to design.

PRE-REQUISITES
- Good communication skills and eye for details.
- Concept Design & Design development.
- Strong design skills, with a flair for creativity within the hospitality & resorts sector.
- Customer service oriented, as you will be expected to win projects from clients.
- Creative and out of the box thinking skills.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in related industry.
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design/Architectural design.
- Strong Leadership qualities.
- A desire and hunger to represent, grow and progress your career with a truly world class design outfit.
