Senior Consultant – Sydney , Australia

Purpose of the role:
To analyse, recommend, present and deliver tailored RIB software business solutions to a diverse range of clients resulting in design-build and construction improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a pre-implementation consultancy service by understanding and accurately interpreting client requirements and business conditions in order to make appropriate recommendations.
- Conduct detailed analyses of client business processes
- Devise project implementation plans to efficiently and effectively manage the implementation of RIB software business solutions.
- Communicate user requirements to RIB product management and IT support staff
- Build and maintain credibility with client contacts to promote post implementation services
- Support client change management processes by promoting software to key users

Qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Civil Engineering
- Proven construction/engineering/process industry experience particularly in the design-build, preconstruction and construction
- Experience working with ERP systems and/or construction specific software applications
- Proven client management experience particularly working with clients to understand their requirements, providing commercially sensitive software solutions in order to improve competitiveness and client cost management
- Consultancy experience including the management of client and lead consultant resources
- An ability to listen, understand and accurately interpret customer requirements and business conditions in order to make appropriate recommendations
- IT skills primarily regarding Estimating and Cost management would be an advantage
- Project management skills including planning, time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and documentation
- Be able to work flexibly with regard to activities and hours in a role that will involve frequent international travel
- Confident and professional presentation skills
